Tonight starts a week of expectation, excitement and possible heart failure!!
Season 2025 – 2026 didn’t get off to the greatest start for the Jags. That’s an understatement.
But Mark, Alex and the Players have succeeded in taking Thistle and our supporters in a positive journey to second place in the Championship and the play-offs again.
Tonight, we all make the one-hour drive to Dunfermline. The match will be a tough gig but great that we are at home for the second leg.
Thistle fans are travelling in huge numbers by car, supporters’ coaches (Club website indicates that many are already fully booked) and public transport to watch their team in this momentous match. Don’t forget to buy your tickets, for away and home, in advance of reaching the turnstiles.
For many reasons not all Jags fans will be in person at the matches but they will not miss out. Tune in to BBC Scotland Sportscene and watch in the comfort of your own lounge. Hopefully none of us will be “biting our nails to the quick” or “watching from behind the couch!
