Further to the 8 March 2026 Scottish Cup Quarter Final between St Mirren v Partick Thistle both The Jags Trust and Jags Foundation were approached by the Scottish Football Supporters Association (SFSA) regarding the launch of their Blue Plaque Project.
They had chosen that particular game to celebrate the legendary figure Jimmy Bone, who had played for both clubs.
The Jags Trust were delighted to donate £250 on behalf of their membership towards the Blue Plaque Project. The Jags Foundation donated a similar sum.
We wish SFSA every success with the Project and raising sufficient funds to mount the plaque for Jimmy Bone.
This project will also celebrate and honour significant people who have contributed to our game. Fans can nominate and contribute towards future plaques for other legends.
